Helen is a business executive with over 20 years’ experience in technology innovation & development and business strategy. She was previously programme director & CEO of Information Technology Entrepreneurs Accelerator (iDEA hub) where she provided services, guidance and resources to over 50 African start-ups in healthcare, enterprise, e-commerce and education verticals.

Over the course of her career, she has advised FTSE 100 corporations and startup companies in the energy and technology industries, in Europe and Africa. Helen is passionate about technology, not only for its ability to make people and businesses more productive, but also for its potential to resolve some of the most pressing problems of the developing world.

Helen has been active in the development and growth of the Nigerian technology ecosystem and led the development of Nigeria’s first Incubator from concept definition to full operations. As Chief Executive, she optimized resources and created value-adding programs to help start-ups innovate, grow and thrive. She also assisted start-ups to raise over $1,000,000 pre-seed/seed capital.

Helen holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law from King’s College London and an LLB from the University of Lagos. She also studied Entrepreneurship Development at MIT.
