RDF Strategies is this week a proud sponsor of the latest African Women on Board (AWB) event, which is taking place in Lagos, Nigeria on Monday 19th February. The event will feature a conversation with Hilary Pennington, Executive Vice President of the Ford Foundation.
The agenda will also include the unveiling of AWB’s new ‘Project 100(0) CVs’ initiative, a new programme aimed to build and circulate a wide database of highly qualified female professionals across multiple sectors to serve as board members and C-level execs in both the private and public sector.
Ford Foundation’s Executive Vice President, Hilary Pennington, oversees all the foundations programs in the US and around the world. The globally orientated private foundation takes as its mission pursuing the advancement of human welfare, and the AWB event will in particular focus on the role of women in business, a topic that RDF itself takes very seriously.
